7th Annual Holiday Window Decorating Contest Winners

The Window Decorating contest took place on November 29. The shop owners in town did a wonderful job getting their windows ready for the Holiday Season. The windows were judged by members of Greenwood Gardens and The Historical Society. There were three categories for the contest Product Display, Traditional and Non-Traditional. Traditional went to Nancy and David Fine Jewels, Product Display went to Dressed by Lori and Curate won for Non-Traditional.

The quickest way to turn your summer dresses into fall essentials: throw a sweater on top.  There are several ways to go about this - you can put on a slightly larger sweater so that only a small section of the dress peeks out at the bottom.  You can also go for a cropped sweater that hits at your waist, which is a good option for fuller dresses or you can go classic and wear a summery dress underneath a cardigan.

The opposite approach is also a viable one: wear your sleeveless dress on top of your sweater. This is particularly successful with fitted thin turtlenecks—you want to stick with sweaters that aren’t too bulky, because otherwise the smaller dress will look bulgy and wrinkly.
